MissionSquare earns Bronze Stevie® Award for Great Employers, recognizing HR technology transformation
Washington – MissionSquare has been named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Achievement in HR Technology category of the 11th annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers. The honor recognizes WorkForward, an enterprise-wide initiative that modernizes HR technology processes and employee experiences through a new Workday platform. Completed in just six months, the initiative delivered measurable results, including a 40% reduction in payroll cycle times, 99% integration accuracy and 95% user adoption at launch.
"MissionSquare is proud to be recognized among the world's best employers for this achievement. WorkForward was more than a technology implementation. It was a strategic investment in our people and another example of how MissionSquare is leveraging technology to create better experiences for employees and the clients we serve," said Andre Robinson, CEO of MissionSquare. "This recognition reflects the dedication and collaboration of teams across the organization who came together to deliver a transformational program that will benefit MissionSquare for years to come."
A key differentiator of the WorkForward initiative was MissionSquare's people-centered approach to change management. The organization engaged employees early in the process, established a network of change ambassadors, and provided role-based training, communications, and ongoing support to help employees successfully adopt new ways of working.
"This award recognizes the tremendous partnership and commitment of our human resources, payroll and finance, technology, and business teams," added Lisa Raff, CHRO, MissionSquare. "By putting employees at the center of the transformation, we were able to modernize how work gets done while creating a more seamless and connected employee experience."
WorkForward represents one of several strategic technology investments MissionSquare has made in recent months to simplify experience, increase operational efficiency, and better support employees as they serve the organization's customers. By modernizing its people systems, MissionSquare is strengthening the foundation needed to deliver exceptional service, support future growth, and advance its mission of helping those who serve their communities build financial security.
More than 1,000 nominations from organizations in 38 countries were submitted across a broad range of HR-related categories. A panel of more than 160 professionals worldwide evaluated the entries during a two-month judging process to determine the Bronze, Silver and Gold Stevie Award winners. Winners will be honored at a red-carpet awards ceremony on Oct. 28, 2026, in Paris, France.
